Construction update for plots 33 to 43 in Block D2
We are pleased to share the latest construction update for plots 33 to 43 in Block D2. We remain on track for a programmed completion date of September 2025, and good progress has been made across all homes within this section of the development.
As we are now within two months of your estimated completion date, we will be providing biweekly construction updates to keep you fully informed on the final stages of progress. These updates will be shared here on your customer portal and will outline remaining works, key milestones, and any changes to timelines as we move closer to handover.
At this point, the structural and internal build phases are complete for all properties. This includes installation of the timber frames, roofing, windows and doors, and the internal screed and joinery works. All first-fix electrical and plumbing installations are in place, with walls fully plasterboarded and skimmed. Kitchens are now fitted, bathrooms have been tiled, and primary sanitaryware such as basins, toilets, and showers have been installed. Decoration is advancing, with mist coats and first coats complete, and final decoration due to commence in the next period.
Externally, major works such as the formation of driveways, rear garden paving and seeding, fencing, cycle storage, bin stores, and footpaths to the street are also ongoing and remain a focus as we lead up to completion. Terraces are formed and balustrades have been installed, with the terrace paving to be installed, the cycle storage in the rear gardens to be erected and the works to the footpath also currently outstanding.
Outstanding works vary slightly between plots, as outlined below:
Plots 33 to 41: These plots are structurally complete and fully fitted, with decoration and mechanical/electrical finishes also in place. The remaining works are focused on floor finishes, which includes fitting final flooring materials such as vinyl, carpet, or laminate, depending on specification. In addition, each of these plots will undergo a final ‘sparkle clean’, which is a detailed deep clean to prepare the homes for handover and ensure they are presented to a high standard.
Plots 42 and 43: These are slightly behind the others but remain on track. Along with floor finishes and sparkle clean, these plots still require the final fix of internal joinery, including installation of finishing items such as door handles, coat hooks, cupboard hardware, and other small but important final touches that ensure a home is fully usable and ready for occupation.
All plots will undergo final inspections and quality checks once the remaining items are completed, and we will continue to provide updates as we move closer to handover.
